Monday-Friday Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales & Business Development Representative to join a growing glass and architectural solutions company serving residential and commercial customers throughout Middle Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales-driven, relationship-focused professional who enjoys meeting people, developing new business, networking within the community, and representing a company in the field. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, outside sales, business development, construction, building materials, architectural products, or a related industry . You will work closely with contractors, builders, architects, designers, property managers, developers, and other industry professionals to generate leads, develop partnerships, and grow revenue. What You'll Do Generate new business through cold outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, and in-person prospecting. Develop and manage relationships with contractors, builders, architects, designers, property managers, developers, and other commercial partners. Conduct regular outside sales visits and meet with prospective and existing customers. Build a strong referral network throughout Middle Tennessee. Identify new markets, accounts, projects, and revenue opportunities. Conduct follow-ups with prospects and maintain an active sales pipeline. Deliver lunch-and-learn presentations and product/industry presentations to contractors, architects, designers, and other partners. Attend networking events, trade shows, community events, and industry meetings. Represent the company professionally at customer meetings and community events. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from lead generation through sales. Maintain accurate records of prospects, contacts, opportunities, meetings, and sales activities. Marketing Responsibilities Support the company's overall marketing and brand-development initiatives. Manage and maintain Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn content. Maintain the company's Google Business Profile and monitor online engagement. Create engaging marketing materials, including photos, videos, presentations, flyers, brochures, newsletters, and social media content. Assist with digital advertising and promotional campaigns. Monitor marketing performance, lead generation, social media engagement, website activity, and ROI. Use modern AI and creative tools such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Adobe Firefly, and AI-powered video editing platforms to create content and improve marketing efficiency. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in outside sales, business development, B2B sales, marketing, account management, or a related field . Strong prospecting, networking, and lead-generation skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Comfortable making sales calls, conducting in-person meetings, and developing new accounts. Confident speaking to groups and delivering presentations. Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills. Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively. Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools . Understanding of social media and digital marketing. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel throughout Middle Tennessee . Ability to walk active construction sites. Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
