POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for selling new Medium and Heavy-Duty Trucks, Trailers, Buses, and/or Equipment in accordance with the Dealership AOR and market share objectives. Promotes all product lines for Worldwide Equipment while providing a best-in-class customer experience.
ESSENTIAL
DUTIES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
Achieves sales expectations and profitability objectives in accordance to approved plan and following the IMPACT sales process. Develops and maintains positive, win/win relationships with assigned customers Prospects new customers using a variety of proven methods. Demonstrates trucks to customers, including test drives. Prepares/submits outside sales call reports and other documents as needed. Represents the company in approved industry and other related events. Maintains training requirements and stays current on state laws and regulations. Maintains knowledge of product performance, specifications and applications Fosters teamwork within the department and with all other departments Promotes the "WE" brand "The Truck People" / "The Bus People" Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Sales training and/or additional related industry training is preferred. Minimum two (2) years related Sales experience, including a demonstrated track record of building sales territory and a satisfied customer base. SKILLS and
ABILITIES CDL
License preferred Strong verbal and written communications with a wide audience. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to customers and all internal and external audiences. "Can Do, make it happen" attitude coupled with a high-energy level with a contagious optimism for the Company Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
