The Inside Sales Representative is one of the primary points of contact for Bradberry Steel customers. This position assists walk-in, phone, and email customers with product questions, pricing, order entry, payments, and order status. You will work closely with our estimating, purchasing, yard, and delivery teams to make sure customers receive accurate information and their orders are completed correctly and on time. Prior steel or construction experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train someone who is organized, comfortable talking with customers, and eager to learn. Responsibilities Greet and assist walk-in customers. Answer incoming customer phone calls and emails. Help customers identify products and materials for their projects. Provide product pricing and availability information. Create and process customer sales orders in our ERP system. Process customer payments. Communicate order status, lead times, and pickup information. Coordinate customer pickups with the yard team. Follow up with customers regarding open orders and questions. Maintain accurate customer and sales records. Assist with showroom organization and merchandising. Purchase showroom inventory and office supplies as assigned. Work closely with estimating, purchasing, yard, and delivery personnel. Help ensure orders are accurate before they are released to customers. Provide friendly, professional customer service during every interaction. What We're Looking For Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability and willingness to learn steel products, metal building components, and construction terminology. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service, retail, inside sales, or office experience. Experience working with contractors, construction companies, or building materials. Familiarity with inventory or ERP software. Construction or steel experience is not required. Training will be provided. Systems & Equipment The Inside Sales Representative will work with: ERP Google Workspace Credit card/payment systems Standard office equipment Work Environment This position works primarily in our office and showroom in Dublin, Texas, with regular interaction with customers, contractors, sales staff, warehouse personnel, and drivers. The position involves frequent sitting and standing and occasional lifting of products weighing up to approximately 25 pounds. Why Bradberry Steel?
