Lead Generator Technician

Duties Lead troubleshooting and repairing generators. Perform electrical diagnostics, soldering, welding, and mechanical repairs with precision and safety in mind. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to conduct generator maintenance, equipment repairs, and generator servicing. Interpret complex schematics and electrical diagrams to identify issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Supervise junior technicians during repair procedures, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality benchmarks. Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair status, service recommendations, and maintenance schedules to enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications Extensive mechanic experience with diesel engine repair, generator servicing, and equipment maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, soldering techniques, welding processes, and heavy machinery diagnostics. Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment or similar heavy-duty machinery is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in physically demanding environments.
