Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant supporting students throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position provides the chance to make a difference and contribute to student success in a dynamic educational setting near Floresville, TX. Your bilingual skills will be highly valued as you collaborate with educators and Speech-Language Pathologists to deliver effective interventions for students. This role calls for flexibility, compassion, and excellent communication abilities.
Qualifications and Skills:
Hold an active and valid SLPA license Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred Must be bilingual, with strong proficiency in English and Spanish Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and needs Solid organizational and record-keeping skills Comfort with collaborative, team-based environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, as prescribed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct screenings and support progress monitoring Document student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student communication goals Adapt therapy activities to support culturally and linguistically diverse learners Enjoy a professional atmosphere where your dedication to student growth is appreciated.
