Sales Representative

Job Title:

Sales Representative - Portable Buildings (Hourly + Commission)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Representative to join our portable building sales team. This position offers a competitive hourly base pay plus commission, providing both stability and strong earning potential. You will assist customers in selecting sheds, barns, cabins, and other structures while delivering excellent service and closing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers on-site, over the phone, and through online inquiries Help customers choose the right building based on their needs, budget, and property Explain product features, customization options, pricing, rent-to-own, and financing plans Prepare quotes, sales agreements, and complete necessary paperwork Actively follow up on leads to convert inquiries into sales Maintain knowledge of current inventory, promotions, and product options Keep the sales lot clean, organized, and visually appealing Coordinate with delivery and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance targets

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous sales or customer service experience preferred Strong communication and people skills Basic computer skills (email, data entry, sales systems) Self-motivated and goal-oriented Reliable and able to work weekends and flexible hours Valid driver's license (preferred)

Compensation:

Hourly base pay (based on experience) Commission on each sale Paid training

Preferred Skills:

Experience in commission-based sales Knowledge of sheds, portable buildings, or construction Ability to upsell and close deals effectively

Work Environment:

Combination of indoor office and outdoor sales lot Regular interaction with customers Some light physical activity (walking the lot, showing buildings)

Pay:

$48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
