Trainee Sales Assistant McAllen, TX | Full-Time | In-Person Every successful sales professional starts somewhere. At The Valley Collective, we believe that attitude, ambition, and a willingness to learn are often more important than previous experience. As our client campaigns continue to grow throughout the Rio Grande Valley, we're looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Trainee Sales Assistants. This opportunity is designed for someone who enjoys working with people, wants to develop valuable communication and sales skills, and is looking for an environment that provides ongoing training, mentorship, and opportunities for growth. No previous sales experience is required. Full training and support are provided from day one. What You'll Be Doing As a Trainee Sales Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced team members to support customer acquisition campaigns and represent client products and services through face-to-face customer engagement. This is a hands-on role where you'll gain practical experience in sales, customer relations, and business development while learning how successful customer engagement campaigns are delivered.
Your responsibilities will include:
Engaging with customers in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner Representing client products and services at promotional events, retail campaigns, and customer engagement activities Learning how to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions Building rapport and creating positive customer experiences Assisting customers throughout the sales process and answering questions confidently Supporting customer acquisition initiatives and helping drive campaign growth Working closely with experienced sales professionals and mentors to develop your skills Participating in ongoing training sessions focused on sales techniques, communication skills, customer engagement, and leadership development Contributing towards individual and team performance goals Developing a strong understanding of sales strategy, customer behaviour, and business growth What We're Looking For Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong communication and people skills Professional approach and strong work ethic Comfortable working in customer-facing environments Ability to work effectively as part of a team Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset Interest in sales, customer service, marketing, or business development What We Offer Comprehensive sales and business development training from day one One-on-one mentorship and ongoing coaching from experienced professionals Weekly pay ranging from $850-$1,175 per week Compensation package includes base pay, commissions, and performance-based bonuses Structured leadership development opportunities Supportive and collaborative team culture Advancement opportunities based on performance Networking opportunities and professional development Why The Valley Collective?
