About the Role As an Inside Sales Representative , you will support customers with large or complex orders, provide technical assistance beyond standard counter sales, and serve as a trusted point of contact for key accounts. This role is essential to customer retention and satisfaction, requiring accuracy, responsiveness, and strong product knowledge in the HVAC/R wholesale environment. What You'll Do Respond to customer inquiries by phone and in person, including will-call orders, special requests, delivery coordination, and timely resolution of needs within designated service timelines. Utilize cross-reference tools and product catalogs to recommend appropriate products and alternatives, partnering with the sales team to enhance customer value through additional offerings. Accurately process sales orders, returns, and warranty claims; complete required documentation; and ensure proper credit issuance or product disposition. Maintain effective relationships with key accounts by understanding customer requirements, conducting regular outreach (including proactive customer calls), and anticipating future needs to support long-term partnerships and retention. Address customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally, serving as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure service alignment and customer satisfaction.
