  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive New Business Development Specialist to drive growth and expand our market presence within the dietary and nutritional supplement industry.
This role is responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and developing innovative plans to attract and secure new customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nutritional supplements, a passion for sales, and the ability to create relationships that drive long-term business growth. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on business expansion, market development, and brand growth in a fast-paced environment. Duties Under the general supervision of the Sales Account Manager, develop and execute sales strategies for the company innovative product categories in North America and Asia to achieve annual revenue and market expansion goals as directed. Develop and maintain customer relationships (including key accounts, distributors, and niche channels), and establish long-term partnerships. Analyze market demands and competitive landscape for relevant product categories in North America and Asia to provide targeted sales strategies. Collaborate with Sales operations team to optimize partner networks and improve channel coverage. Setup local demos, workshops, and explore innovative sales models such as distribution partnerships. Provide customer feedback to the Sales Account Manager regarding technical and after-sales needs. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, focusing on both the main contact as well as other related staff. Lead and facilitate or assist in the resolution of customer problems or concerns. Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to present new product ideas with existing customers. Communicate regularly with all departments to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded. Manage service delivery to specified scope of work. Coordinate marketing materials with marketing and design team for social media posts, email blasts, press releases, etc. Present product concepts, technical capabilities, and company offerings to customers through client meetings, webinars, trade shows, and industry events, effectively translating complex information into clear, compelling business value. Strong presentation and public speaking skills with the ability to confidently engage customers in both small-group and large-format settings (e.g., webinars, trade shows, industry events) Skills Knowledge of dietary/nutritional industry in a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Experience with MS Office Suite. Must possess strong organizational and communication skills. Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines. Able to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems. Takes initiative and seeks additional training or direction as needed. Must be willing to abide by companys policies and procedures, including those that are safety-related. Self-motivated individual willing to work hard, able to work in a group and alone, and be quality conscious. Demonstrates a professional team-first attitude toward work and co-workers. EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline (Required). A minimum of two (2-3) years in account/project management experience (Preferred). Bilingual in Korean/English with the ability to speak, write, and understand (Required). Knowledge of dietary/nutritional supplement industry in a manufacturing environment (Preferred). Ability to attend trade shows, customer visits, and presentations as necessary (Required). Excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of basic computer software applications such as MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). A self-motivated, results-driven and a creative problem solver. Have superior skills in multitasking and completing deadlines on time. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must possess strong organizational and communication skills. Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines. Able to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems. Takes initiative and seeks additional training or direction as needed. Must be willing to abide by Company policies and procedures, including those that are safety-related. Self-motivated individual willing to work hard, able to work in a group and alone, and be quality conscious. Demonstrates a professional, team first attitude toward work and co-workers. Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Office-based work environment with occasional light physical activities related to sample handling, organization, and movement within the office or designated storage areas, depending on business needs. Must be able to work in a collaborative office setting and occasionally handle sample materials and packaging.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position may require occasional light physical activities such as handling, organizing, and moving product samples or small packages within the office environment. Employees may occasionally need to bend, reach, carry, or lift light materials related to sample management and office operations. Regular use of a computer and standard office equipment is required, along with the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
