Job Description

The Care Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care as they are introduced to our practice and during treatment. This position involves managing new patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and be familiar with medical insurance, particularly within a chiropractic or medical office setting. This position does include bonus opportunities! Duties Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services. Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with privacy regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline patient care processes. Assist patients in understanding their treatment plans and follow-up care requirements. Manage insurance verification and assist with billing inquiries as necessary. Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare teams to enhance patient satisfaction. Stay updated on medical terminology and office procedures to provide informed support. Skills Proficient knowledge of medical insurance relevant to both chiropractic and medical practices. Experience in medical administrative support, including scheduling, record keeping, and patient interaction. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Familiarity with office management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a compassionate approach towards patient care. This role is essential for fostering a supportive environment for patients while ensuring that their healthcare needs are met effectively.
