San Antonio, TX & Surrounding Areas Base Pay:
$35,000•40,000 per year
Total Compensation:
Base + uncapped commission + vehicle reimbursement
Typical First-Year Earnings:
$65,000•85,000+

Full-time | Remote, field-based territory About Frugé Seafood Since 1983, Frugé Seafood has been a Texas-based seafood distributor with direct access to the Gulf. Built by fishermen, we specialize in premium fresh seafood and live crawfish, serving restaurants across Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. Our reputation is built on quality products, reliable service, and long-term relationships with chefs and restaurant operators. The Opportunity We're hiring an Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage restaurant relationships in the San Antonio metro and surrounding areas . This is a remote, field-based role ideal for someone with restaurant or foodservice experience who understands purchasing, food cost, and service—and wants to transition into a sales career with commission upside, flexibility, and long-term growth. Many of our most successful sales reps came directly from restaurant management or culinary leadership roles. What You'll Do Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, general managers, and restaurant owners Manage and grow a territory of restaurant accounts in the Austin area Develop new business through referrals, in-market visits, and existing relationships Recommend seafood products based on menu needs and customer preferences Work closely with inside sales, drivers, and operations to deliver excellent service Grow accounts through trust, consistency, and product knowledge This is a relationship-driven sales role — not a call center or high-pressure sales environment. What We're Looking For 2+ years of restaurant management, culinary, or foodservice experience preferred Understanding of restaurant purchasing and food cost fundamentals Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently Strong communication and relationship-building skills Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record Previous sales experience is helpful, but restaurant professionals are strongly encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits Base salary of $35,000•40,000 Uncapped commission on sales growth Vehicle reimbursement Typical first-year earnings of $65,000•85,000+ 401(k) with company match Health insurance & HSA Paid time off (PTO) Why Frugé?
