Hiring Manager is interviewing immediately. Position Summary We are seeking a customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to provide exceptional service and sales support to an established customer base. This position is responsible for managing key customer accounts, processing orders, preparing quotes, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing or distribution environment, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and have excellent attention to detail while managing multiple priorities. Top Qualifications Strong customer service skills Excellent problem-solving abilities High attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to an established customer base. Manage key strategic customer accounts and maintain strong customer relationships. Handle a high volume of customer interactions via phone, email, and other communication channels. Prepare and process customer quotes, including pricing and delivery information. Manage sales orders, purchase orders, and order entry activities. Monitor customer orders, inventory levels, stocking requirements, and reorder points. Coordinate with outside sales representatives and internal management teams. Follow up with customers regarding order status, shipments, and delivery schedules. Assist with forecasting revenue and gross profit for assigned customer accounts. Determine appropriate materials based on customer specifications and requirements. Obtain vendor quotations for materials and outside processing services. Process customer returns, credits, complaints, and issue resolution. Maintain accurate paper and electronic customer records. Support long-term customer relationships through regular communication and account management. Periodically visit customers to strengthen business relationships. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of experience in: Inside Sales Customer Service Sales Support Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including: Excel PowerPoint Outlook Experience using internet and intranet-based business applications. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree. Previous experience in a manufacturing, metals, or distribution environment. Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems. Experience managing customer accounts and high-volume order processing.
