Job Description

Business Development Specialist Job Summary:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our team at Avir at Santa Fe in Weatherford, TX. As a key member of our sales and marketing efforts, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with potential customers, medical professionals, and community contacts to increase inquiries and referrals for our facility. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Make sales calls to medical professionals, senior organizations, and community contacts to advise them of bed availability and services Develop and maintain relationships to efficiently meet the daily needs of the community Monitor inquiry, admission, and census trends, and prepare reports as required Intake information from referral sources and clients/patients in a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous manner Train and coordinate in-house staff to serve as main source and back-up for inquiries, tours, admissions, and admissions paperwork Maintain a close working relationship with management and staff to assure appropriate and efficient decisions about prospective admissions Monitor competition, industry trends, and legislative/regulatory issues, and communicate this information with staff and community contacts Assist in development of facility materials, such as brochures, press releases, and advertisements Develop and implement special events and presentations to establish the facility as an expert on skilled nursing and rehabilitation care
Requirements:
Previous health care community sales relations experience preferred Excellent presentation and organizational skills required Good listener with strong communication skills Knowledge of reimbursement programs and personal computer skills at a level commensurate with position Must be self-motivated, self-directed, goal-directed, and goal-oriented Ability to maintain regular attendance and perform the Essential Job Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation
