About ASM
Aviation School of Maintenance prepares experienced aircraft technicians — military, civilian, and international — to pass the FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) exams. We run an in-person program in San Antonio and online written-exam prep courses, and were the sister company of Total Aviation Staffing, which places mechanics in jobs across the US. Our students already have years of hands-on experience; what they need is someone who can explain the FAA process (the 8610-2 form, the FSDO visit, the three written tests) in plain language and keep them moving.
What youll do
Call, text, and email every new lead within minutes of it arriving — from our website, Meta ads, and our eligibility quiz — and keep working each one through a six-attempt cadence until youve had a real conversation.
Run a 15-minute discovery call that establishes eligibility (experience source and months, 8610-2 status), goals, format (in-person San Antonio vs online), timing, and budget — and record every answer in HubSpot.
Recommend the right path, present the program and pricing, and handle the objections that come up every day: cost, "Ill study on my own," "I dont have enough hours yet," online vs in person.
Close:
deposit paid, paperwork started, student welcomed into the course.
Live in HubSpot. Every call logged, every deal with a next step, zero overdue tasks at the end of your day.
Give us feedback from the front line: what leads ask, why they dont enroll, which ads bring the right people.
A typical day (US Central)
8:00-8:30 — Review the overnight "Today" digest; call every new lead that came in since yesterday.
8:30-10:30 — Scheduled callbacks and closing conversations; chase deposits and documents.
10:30-12:00 — Discovery calls booked through your calendar link.
1:00-3:00 — Follow-up attempts (calls and texts) on leads you havent reached yet, oldest first.
3:00-4:30 — Reply to texts and emails; move deals forward; send program summaries.
4:30-5:00 — End-of-day sweep: every deal you touched has a next task and a date.

Youre a fit if
You have 2+ years in phone-based sales, admissions, or appointment setting for a US company, and youve closed — not just booked.
Your spoken English is clear, warm, and confident with American callers, including on a bad connection. Spanish is a real plus (many of our students are bilingual).
Youve worked US Central hours before and have a setup that makes it sustainable: quiet room, wired internet of 25 Mbps+, a backup connection, and backup power.
Youre comfortable running your day out of a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, or similar) and a business phone app (RingCentral or similar).
You like explaining complicated processes simply. Aviation, military, or trade-school background is a bonus, not a requirement — well teach you the FAA side.
Youre coachable: youre fine being recorded, reviewed, and role-played with every week.
Pay and terms
$1,500 USD per month base , paid twice monthly via Wise (or your preferred platform).
Enrollment bonuses on every student you enroll, paid the month after their payment clears — realistic on-target earnings of $1,800-2,000/month once youre ramped.
13th-month pay, paid time off (10 days/year plus US federal holidays we observe), and a laptop/headset stipend after 90 days.
Independent-contractor engagement; you handle your own local taxes and contributions.
What the first 30 days look like
Week one is the system and the product: HubSpot, our pipeline, the FAA eligibility rules, pricing — plus shadowing live calls with our current advisor. Week two you run the full follow-up cadence yourself with daily coaching. By weeks three and four you own the closing conversations. Every call is recorded, and youll review them with your manager each afternoon for the first month.
