As an Inside Sales Representative , your more typical responsibilities will include: Represents the company for the sale of machinery to walk-in customers and maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership, with an emphasis on <90hp tractors, compact construction equipment, and CME Monitors competitive activity/products and monitors trends in customer's business activities and timely communicates to management Has a retail-selling emphasis (understands task-oriented questions to ask, validates customer requirements, proposes solution, offers demonstration and moves to close) Maintains all customer information for sales management and follows a defined sales process Assist with arranging and maintaining equipment on the yard to ensure an organized and attractive retail display and assists with the preparation and execution of customer events Conducts new equipment demonstrations and attends applicable sales training events/seminars Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes Proven ability to identify, develop, and grow new customer accounts to increase dealership market share and expand product line sales Strengthen and expand sales within key institutional markets including government agencies, municipalities, and local school districts Promote dealership products and services through participation in local equipment shows and industry events Requirements include: Retail sales experience, with experience in lawn/garden, tractors, equipment and compact construction equipment strongly preferred Knowledge of agricultural or turf equipment and farming or operational practices preferred Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions, experience with Salesforce highly preferred Ability to work flexible hours with negligible travel to customer sites and demo events required Excellent customer relationship skills Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports Above all, we are seeking a friendly team player who has an outstanding work ethic, a willingness to continue learning and growing personally and professionally, and enjoys contributing to a positive work environment!
