Job Description

Summary The Showroom Sales Consultant increases sales, market share, company profitability and customer satisfaction by working with the public, suppliers, contractors and their clients in choosing plumbing fixtures and related items for kitchens, baths and recreational areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide expert product selection assistance, expediting orders from vendors and conducting customer visits as needed Work with customers, contractors, builders and vendors in planning and product selection Assist Manager in marketing campaigns Track customer returns Maintain accurate and organized customer files Schedule deliveries Visit job sites as needed to measure or provide client services Develop long-term relationships with builders and contractors Read blueprints to ensure compatibility between product ordered and customer desire and needs Assist in scheduled physical inventory counts Coordinate the ordering, receiving and delivery of products in a timely manner Follow company policies and procedures Use strong consultative sales skills, negotiation and interpersonal skills (both oral and written), attention to detail, strong follow-up skills and motivation to make the sale. Work with local outside salespeople to assist in following up with any issues Assist with special projects such as trade shows and display changes Process and track orders and maintain excellent communication with all contacts Adhere to the rules and regulations as set forth in the Employee Handbook Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years work experience as a Design Specialist. Strong customer service and/or problem-solving skills Must be results oriented and willing to be accountable for results Good written and oral communication skills Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Available to work weekday or weekend overtime as required Available Benefits You will be eligible to participate in the Company's benefits program on first of the month after 45 days of employment. Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
