Clinic Manager / Wellness Coordinator - Sales & Operations The Joint Chiropractic - Lynchburg, VA Part-Time | Approximately 30-35 Hours per Week Please Read Before Applying This position includes sales and is accountable for clinic sales performance. Our clinic operates Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. You will not work every operating hour, but your schedule will fall within these hours and will include approximately four or more patient-facing shifts each week. This is a hands-on management position. Our Clinic Manager works alongside the team as a Wellness Coordinator while also leading the people, performance, and daily operations of the clinic. Please do not apply if you are not comfortable with sales, leadership accountability, or working within these operating hours. About the Position The Joint Chiropractic - Lynchburg is seeking a motivated, dependable, and growth-minded Clinic Manager/Wellness Coordinator to lead our front-desk team and help oversee daily clinic operations. This is not a position for someone who only wants to assign tasks from behind the scenes. Our Clinic Manager actively works Wellness Coordinator shifts, serves patients, presents membership options, completes sales calls, and demonstrates the level of performance expected from the team. The right person will take ownership of the clinic's success, coach team members, protect the patient experience, communicate proactively with ownership, and help solve problems before they grow. This position is designed for someone who wants to develop as a leader and grow with our company as we prepare for future expansion. What Your Week May Include The position is expected to average approximately 3 0-35 hours per week , generally including: Six or more Wellness Coordinator shifts One dedicated leadership or administrative shift Overlap time for coaching, training, or operational support Occasional flexibility to help with clinic needs or shift coverage Leadership Responsibilities As Clinic Manager, you will: Train and onboard new Wellness Coordinators Serve as the primary point of contact for the Wellness Coordinator team Conduct regular one-on-one coaching to improve sales conversion, patient experience, accountability, and overall performance Develop confident, well-trained team members Create schedules and help coordinate coverage Address routine team questions and minor concerns before escalating them to ownership Communicate problems, performance concerns, and operational needs to ownership early Create and maintain a positive, professional, and accountable team culture Lead by example through your attitude, reliability, sales performance, communication, and work ethic Take ownership of problems and help develop solutions Support ownership by solving problems—not simply identifying them Wellness Coordinator and Sales Responsibilities While working patient-facing shifts, you will: Greet patients and create a friendly, consistent experience from the moment they arrive Register new patients and check patients in to see the chiropractor Present and sell memberships, visit packages, and other applicable services Educate patients on the membership options that best fit their needs Confidently respond to questions and work through sales objections Answer incoming calls and complete outbound sales and follow-up calls Process payments and assist patients with account questions Resolve patient concerns professionally and use sound judgment when determining when ownership should be involved Maintain complete and accurate documentation in patient accounts Help keep the clinic clean, organized, and ready for patients Consistently work toward individual and clinic sales goals Clinic Operations and Administration You will help oversee day-to-day clinic operations, including: Creating and maintaining team schedules Assisting with shift coverage when needed Monitoring clinic procedures and ensuring they are completed consistently Maintaining clinic and office supplies Checking and managing clinic mail Completing weekly past-due account follow-up Processing eligible past-due payments Participating in local marketing promotions and community events Coordinating approximately one marketing or vendor-table opportunity each month Supporting social media engagement and local brand awareness Participating in bi-monthly team calls Attending applicable virtual corporate training Completing additional administrative responsibilities as the clinic grows How Success Will Be Measured Success in this role includes: Creating a positive, accountable team culture Helping new hires become confident and successful Improving team performance through consistent coaching Maintaining a welcoming and reliable patient experience Reaching individual and clinic sales goals Supporting membership growth and retention Ensuring clinic procedures and administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time Communicating proactively with ownership Treating clinic performance with the care and ownership you would give your own business Taking initiative without waiting to be asked Leading with integrity, professionalism, accountability, and kindness We Could Be a Great Match If You Are A leader: You are comfortable giving direction, coaching performance, addressing concerns, and holding yourself and others accountable.

Preferred Experience and Skills Previous management, team-lead, or supervisory experience Sales experience involving memberships, service packages, or recurring programs Experience training or coaching team members Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to handle patient and employee concerns professionally Strong organization, follow-through, and time-management skills Confidence reviewing performance numbers and using them to guide coaching Local marketing, community outreach, or social media experience Interest in chiropractic care, wellness, or alternative healthcare Proficiency with computers, email systems, Microsoft Office, scanners, phones, and other standard office equipment High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher is preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment Compensation Eligible for applicable Wellness Coordinator sales bonuses Eligible for an enhanced leadership team bonus when weekly clinic goals are achieved Eligible for applicable month-over-month performance bonuses About The Joint Chiropractic The Joint Chiropractic was founded with a vision to transform the traditional approach to chiropractic care by making it more convenient, friendly, and affordable.
