What You'll Do Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
Prepare and follow up on quotes, bids, and project submittals.
Process sales orders accurately and ensure proper documentation.
Collaborate with production, logistics, and credit teams to meet customer requirements.
Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and opportunities in CRM.
Proactively reach out to existing customers to promote products, services, and new offerings.
Assist Outside Sales Representatives with account support, project tracking, and reporting.
Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
Participate in sales meetings, training, and performance reviews.
What You'll Need 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or order management experience (construction or manufacturing industry preferred).
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, and order entry software.
Ability to interpret technical information and convey it clearly to customers.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through.
Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Your Education
High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
