  • Capital Benefit Group is an employee benefits consulting and administration company, primarily serving small and mid-sized employers through a unique and specialized Association Health Plan (AHP) management approach.
Based in Bellevue, WA, CBG manages multiple AHP programs in Washington and Oregon, with potential expansion into other states. Directly related to the effective management of AHP pools, CBG companies also support Medicare, Individual and other group-based insurance programs for our clients. Summary
  • The Sales Coordinator is a key member of the Capital Benefit Group (CBG) team, responsible for providing administrative and operational support to our sales consultants and account managers.
This role streamlines the many administrative processes involved in client prospecting, sales, enrollments, and ongoing service—directly contributing to improved sales production and client retention across the team. All team members are expected to embrace a culture centered on exceptional customer service, collaboration, and operational excellence. Fluency in Spanish, while not a requirement, is highly valued for this role as it strengthens our ability to serve our diverse client base. Candidates who have had prior experience in sales or service to small/medium size businesses, recruiting, hr, banking, financial services are highly encouraged to apply. Duties & Responsibilities § Support for Client Prospecting & Proposals Research prospects & call list, loading information into CRM system Maintain CRM system (activity updates and data integrity) Prepare Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and run carrier quotes to shop the market for clients and prospects Review carrier quotes and prepare comparison spreadsheets Compile and organize proposal materials for client presentations § Support for Closed Sales & New Group Enrollment Prepare/print employee enrollment packets Configure the online enrollment system (if applicable) Collect and review employee applications for accuracy and completeness Submit applications and follow-up with carriers regarding enrollment process Store all policies in CRM system and create a summary Wrap document § Support for Annual Renewal Process Shop the market (run quotes) when appropriate Prepare employee enrollment packets Collect client renewal confirmation and employee applications § Client Service Support Conduct new hire benefits introductions via phone Request replacement ID cards from carriers Resolve enrollment errors (e.g., incorrect birthdates, name misspellings) Respond to client calls: enrollment/eligibility, billing, provider search, etc. Computer Skills Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including word, excel and outlook Comfort learning and navigating new software platforms Knowledge, Skills and Abilities § Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines § Able to manage and validate high volumes of data while maintaining consistency and integrity across systems § Adaptable to varying carrier platforms, procedures, and requirements § Proactive in identifying issues and escalating them appropriately § Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to support team sales goals § Knowledge of formatting and preparation of business communication § Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency is highly valued, but not required No relocation assistance offered.
