We're a 70+ truck asset-based carrier headquartered in Vancouver, WA, and we're expanding our brokerage operation. We've been delivering freight to America since 2013, and we've grown into a two-time Inc. 5000 honoree (2024, 2025) with two terminals, 100,000+ sq ft of warehousing, and a 4.9/5 rating from 500+ verified shipper reviews. This is a pure new-business role. Your job is to bring in shippers. If you can build a book from cold and you don't need anyone holding your hand, keep reading. What You'll Sell Truckload (reefer and dry van), LTL, flatbed, brokered capacity, and warehousing. We've got our own fleet to back up direct service, plus a brokerage arm to flex into any lane your customers need. What You'll Do Hunt new shipper accounts through outbound prospecting, cold calls, email, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and RFPs Build a pipeline of decision-makers at manufacturers, distributors, growers, and CPG companies Qualify lanes, quote freight, negotiate rates, and close Own the customer relationship — onboarding, growing share of wallet, and bringing back repeat business Hit daily activity targets and weekly pipeline metrics Grow accounts beyond the first load. The second load is where the relationship starts. What You Bring 2-5 years of sales experience in freight brokerage, 3PL, or logistics — selling to shippers A track record of building a book from cold and hitting quota Working knowledge of truckload (reefer + dry van), LTL, and brokered capacity High-volume outbound discipline — phone, email, LinkedIn — and the thick skin to go with it Comfort with CRM, DAT, load board pricing, and lane economics The ability to talk freight credibly with shippers, traffic managers, and supply chain decision-makers Bonus points for: existing shipper relationships in the PNW or Texas, reefer/produce experience, brokerage background, DFW market knowledge.
