POSITION OVERVIEW
NORPAC Customer Service Team is seeking a motivated Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative. This role is responsible to provide support to internal and external customers through providing excellent customer service in alignment with NORPAC's business goals in all areas: Safety, Customer Satisfaction, Process Reliability, Costs, and other defined business. Qualifications Customer Service is a fast-paced position that is best suited for someone who enjoys a variety of activities and responsibilities and who can continuously reprioritize while always learning and improving the processes used to complete the tasks. Key Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) Work closely with the NORPAC Sales Team to match customer needs with mill capabilities, while serving as a liaison between customers and other NORPAC teams including shipping and logistics, IT, scheduling and operations to ensure timely delivery of quality products and excellent customer service Build strong working relationships with customers using a variety of communication methods, with emphasis on detailed and professional emails while representing NORPAC's core values Provide comprehensive support to customers by providing manufacturing dates, inventory availability and transit times, entering orders, tracking production, and monitoring transportation of the product until received in good condition Perform complex problem solving around production schedules, shipping and logistics; mitigate transit delays to meet target deliveries Demonstrate collaboration and communication skills in a team-based environment that focuses on identifying and implementing improvement opportunities to support organizational goals and maintain leadership in the paper and packaging industry Other duties as assigned and identified
Required Qualifications and Key Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of two years of customer service or comparable experience Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Strong team and people skills Strong customer service focus with the demonstrated ability to access and follow up on concerns quickly in calm, efficient, and effective manner Must be well organized and able to manage multiple tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization Ability to understand requests and issues and negotiate solutions Ability to quickly simplify and solve complex issues Skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks and demands
Preferred:
Associate degree in a related field Familiarity or experience with sales order processing, accounting, inventory management and inventory tracking software, specifically ELIXIR Knowledge of manufacturing related operations including production scheduling practices, shipping, and logistics Manufacturing environment experience, specifically a paper mill
Compensation:
Hourly range for this position is 26.75 - 36.00 , depending on experience (DOE). This is a salaried non-exempt position.
