POSITION
Sales & Project Consultant SUMMARY:
Locally owned manufacturing and construction company is looking for a qualified
SALES & PROJECT CONSULTANT
to join the team. Our preferred candidate is someone who is self-motivated, attentive to detail, and analytical. Will be working with a small crew regularly, but also expected to work efficiently when alone. Job responsibilities will change depending on current projects and work availability. The ideal employee will exhibit good work ethic, reliability, and professionalism. All staff members are expected to follow safety regulations and use proper personal protection when working in the presence of hazards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own all aspects of the customer service experience from beginning to end Be proactive in generating sales by handling both phone and web inquiries Schedule site visits, sales calls, and meetings. Prepare materials for client conferences. Responsible for clear and efficient communication with project stakeholders Work closely with managers to ensure thorough and accurate project documentation Create material lists for new structure orders in preparation for shipment/installation Collaborate and assist with other departments in regards to project status as needed Set up travel arrangements and itineraries for crews working out-of-town Review inventory and procure materials as needed Enter data, maintain spreadsheets/logs, and update reports Copy, scan, fax, or email documents for manager and clients as required Generate marketing materials, create ads, and regularly update company website Create and maintain standard operating procedure manuals Follow instructions from manager clearly, accurately, and within a timely fashion Maintain regular and punctual attendance Perform related duties and responsibilities as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to read blueprints and understanding of AutoCAD highly valued Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word Advanced typing, note-taking, recordkeeping, and math skills needed Problem-solving capabilities and aptitude for customer service Experience with sales, product valuing, and price strategies beneficial, but not required Knowledge of construction, metal shop fabrication, or manufacturing facilities a plus Self-motivated with strong organization and good time-management Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy Reliable mode of transportation and clean driving record
JOB DETAILS
Full-Time Monday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm Two weeks paid time off (10 days) Pay & Compensation (Salary, Wage)
