You'll oversee a broad array of existing independent convenience stores customers, driving sales through our varied food service and convenience programs. Your role extends beyond maintaining existing customers; it involves tapping into new customers and forging strong business relationships. Position Details:
We offer a competitive starting training salary range, depending on experience, during the training period. Post-training, Sales Reps can earn uncapped commissions, spiffs + subsidy until they scale their territory to 100% commission. Top performers can earn well over $100,000 annually!!! Unlike traditional commission-based sales, our Sales Reps earn commissions on every order, not just one-time deals. These territories already have active, loyal customers placing weekly orders, creating a steady stream of income from day one.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8AM-5
PM Monthly Cell Phone Stipend Travel:
80% Driving Travel Required in the Local Territory. This is a field-based sales role covering an assigned local sales territory Olympia, WA), stretching approximately a 50-mile radius, depending on the origination location. Car allowance + mileage reimbursement through CarData Program Overnight stays may be required Potential travel to the Portland location or other local cities for sales meetings and also based on business needs
Compensation Package:
Months 1 through 6 (Initial Subsidy Period): To support onboarding and territory pipeline development, the hired applicant will receive a guaranteed, fixed salary equivalent to $80,000 per year ($6,666.67 per month) . Month 7 and Beyond (Commission Period): Beginning in month seven, the position transitions to a 100% commission-only structure. Commissions are calculated based on gross profit and specific product categories, ranging from 2% to 12% of gross profit depending on the product type and business line.
Additional Earning Programs:
Employees are eligible to participate in performance-based company incentive programs and vendor-sponsored incentive programs.
Job Responsibilities:
Grow sales and profit margins through execution on sales strategy and territory management, planning a sales approach customized with individual customers. Prospecting and onboarding of new customer accounts, including cold calling to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Educate the customer on convenience and foodservice programs, new product promotions, marketing policies, service, delivery specifics, and industry activities. Review daily/weekly/monthly reports with the store manager and assist with any opportunities that may arise. Minimizes accounts receivable problems by monitoring accounts for compliance with credit terms and follows-up on any problems. Maintains awareness of pricing trends within sales territory, particularly for products, to ensure competitive pricing. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales. Participate in relevant industry events and networking opportunities. Performing additional duties as assigned. The ideal candidate should possess the following: Proven success with closing sales for a variety of product lines with B2B. Proven and successful sales ledger travel & effective time management experience. General knowledge of food safety standards including basic HACCP practice and cold-chain integrity, transporting of perishable foods, and maintain Serv-Safe certification. Detail minded and organized, with an ability to work independently with little direction. Strong communication and presentation skill set with a demonstrated ability to conduct professional, results driven customer presentations. Intermediate abilities with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI. Energetic and entrepreneurial spirit with competitive drive. Sales professional with experience and track record of growing market share. Proven success with relationship building and providing consultative services for customers.   • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience is required.
  • Must own a reliable vehicle with valid driver's license, current auto insurance with a clean driving record.
  • Must have at least 1 year of sales, account management or business development experience. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of sales, account management or business development experience.
  • At least 2 years of B2B sales experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in food service, wholesale, grocery, or retail
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as SalesForce.
