Job Description

The position of Agronomy Sales and Services Support Coordinator is of great significance to Valley Agronomics. A person in this position is responsible for making in-house and counter sales and recommendations for Crop Protection, Fertilizer, and Lime products. Coordinate application work orders to gain maximum efficiencies. Ensure inventory levels are appropriate for season and local demand. Assist plant operations in safely making deliveries so that customers are given fast, accurate service. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Job Summary:
These are the basic requirements of the position and must be performed competently. Assist Location Manager with location operations acting as person in charge when Location Manger is not available; including hiring and firing when required. Work with applicators, agronomists, and plant operations to schedule daily work orders to gain maximum efficiency while maintaining customer service expectations. Coordinate Crop Protection orders and returns based on inventory, seasonal demands, and work orders. Assist Agronomists with Ag World, reports, and trial data. Make phone contact with unassigned customers to enhance sales based on seasonal calendar and customer needs. Complete monthly CPP cycle counts. Assist with counter sales and make in house and phone recommendations. Assist with receiving Crop Protection and Fertilizer product deliveries as needed. Assist with blending and loading both Dry and Liquid fertilizer. Coordinate deliveries of CPP and Fertilizer products as required. Travel to, and work at or around, other facilities as needed. Make truck and equipment inspections as required Follow all company and DOT safety rules. Maintain clean and orderly equipment and work areas. Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES
Ability to maintain a State Pesticide Consultants License. Proficiency in operation of forklift and bucket loader. Ability to operate truck safely. Ability to perform arithmetic calculations. Ability to maintain a CDL license. Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. High school or equivalent. Valid driver license and CDL. Current State Pesticide Consultants License. Valid Forklift/Bucket loader certification. Must have a strong team player focus in all interactions. Must exhibit a professional and positive image.
Total Rewards Package:
Salary Range:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour. Does not include potential bonuses
