Outside Sales and Counter Sales Rep

As an Outside Sales and Counter Sales Representative , you will call on a group of assigned accounts that include Wholesale and non-wholesale customers and will assist with promoting and advancing company marketing/sales programs. In addition, you will assist with internal store operations such as customer service, parts delivery and freight processing.

JOB DUTIES

Call on customers per the schedule/strategy created by store leader and ensure retail and wholesale customers make Auto Value the first call for parts Assist with store counter sales, parts delivery and freight processing as part of a regular schedule Maintain awareness and knowledge of current sales and sales targets Conduct sales transactions with adherence to store/company policies and procedures Complete all related reports accurately and on time Participate in training programs, learning about our products, our programs and our customers Represent Auto Value in a professional and positive manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma/GED with a minimum of two years of related experience and with a thorough knowledge of the auto parts industry and sales approaches Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Ability to function in a demanding environment, under substantial time pressure Strong organizational skills Knowledge of desktop computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel Valid driver s license and acceptable driving record
