Develop, maintain, and manage a robust sales pipeline using Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools to track leads, customer interactions, and sales activities. Assess customer needs and recommend tailored products and solutions that align with their goals and objectives. Negotiate contracts, prepare proposals, and close sales opportunities to achieve or exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with marketing teams to support local campaigns, increase brand awareness, and generate qualified leads. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing ongoing support, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, customer communications, follow-up actions, and account information. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities. Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and territory development to management. Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and community functions to promote products and services. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards while maintaining a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and professional conduct. Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communication, or equivalent knowledge and experience. Proven experience in outside sales with a focus on sanitary components, fittings and equipment used in the food, dairy and processing industries preferred. Strong background in marketing and sales strategies to effectively promote products in diverse markets, driving revenue growth and expanding market share. Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong problem solving, planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Demonstrated presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with a proven ability to influence purchasing decisions. Skilled at managing multiple projects, competing priorities, timelines, and due dates in a fast-paced environment while ensuring customer satisfaction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and confident phone presence. Experienced in prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling to identify and secure new business opportunities. Effective relationship builder with the ability to establish trust and maintain long-term customer partnerships. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and flexibility for frequent customer visits and territory travel.
