This is a true hunter role focused on prospecting, building relationships, and converting new customers. This position is ideal for a competitive, self-motivated sales professional who thrives on opening doors, engaging decision-makers, and driving revenue growth in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities New Business Development Identify and pursue new customers through cold calling, networking, onsite visits, and targeted outreach Develop and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and grow territory revenue Generate and qualify leads, driving them through the full sales cycle Relationship Building & Sales Execution Initiate contact with decision-makers and build strong, lasting relationships Understand customer needs and recommend tailored equipment and solutions Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and close new business Technical Sales Support Gather customer requirements, specifications, and operational challenges Collaborate with engineering and internal teams to develop solutions and quotes Ensure accuracy of technical details to support design, quoting, and delivery Account Growth & Market Insight Maintain relationships with customers to drive repeat business and long-term loyalty Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback Track sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts to meet performance goals QualificationsRequired Experience 7+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or capital equipment Proven success in new business development and account acquisition Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing Skills & Attributes Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex equipment Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Highly motivated, self-starter with a competitive mindset Ability to build relationships quickly and earn customer trust Strong organizational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field Experience selling engineered or custom equipment solutions Familiarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and operations teams
