And that's exactly why it's worth it. You won't be handed a full calendar of warm leads. You'll find opportunities by making calls, meeting business owners, networking and following up. Some days, you'll close a deal. Other days, you'll make 30 calls and wonder if anyone answers their phone anymore. That's sales. If that sounds more exciting than discouraging, keep reading. About the Role Your job is simple to explain: bring new business to The Gratzi. You'll be involved in the entire sales process—from finding prospects and starting conversations to conducting meetings, presenting the right solution and closing the sale. You'll spend your time: Finding and connecting with potential clients Making outbound calls and following up Meeting local business owners Networking in the community Conducting discovery meetings Recommending digital marketing solutions Preparing and presenting proposals Closing new business Keeping your pipeline organized and moving This is a full sales role. You won't just set appointments for someone else to close, and you won't be responsible for managing a list of existing clients. Once a client comes on board, our team takes over the ongoing relationship so you can stay focused on building new business. New to Sales? That's Okay. This is an entry-level opportunity, and previous sales experience is not required. We'll train you on our services, our sales process and how to prospect, conduct discovery meetings, present solutions, follow up and close. You won't be expected to know everything on your first day. You will be expected to participate, practice, accept coaching and start having real conversations early. Compensation and Benefits $40,000 base salary Uncapped commission Expected earnings during your first 12 months: $55,000-$65,000+ Comprehensive benefits package 401(k) with company match Paid time off and paid holidays Bonus program Tuition reimbursement In-office snacks Why The Gratzi? The Gratzi is a family-owned digital marketing company in Kenosha. We're a small, close-knit team that works hard, helps each other and genuinely enjoys working together. You'll know the people you work with—not get lost in a large sales department You'll have direct access to leadership, coaching and support Your ideas will be heard and your work will be noticed You'll see the work being done for the clients you bring in You'll help local businesses grow You'll learn the full sales process, not just one small part of it You'll be part of team lunches, company activities and celebrations When you win, the whole team feels it People tend to stay at The Gratzi because they feel like part of the team—not like another employee filling a seat. We expect accountability and follow-through. You'll have training, coaching and a team behind you, but your success will depend on what you put into it. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Comfortable talking with new people and starting conversations Willing to make outbound calls and actively look for new business Able to hear "no," learn from it and keep moving Motivated by goals, results and earning potential Persistent with follow-up Coachable and willing to practice new skills Organized, dependable and able to manage multiple follow-ups Able to work independently while still being part of a close-knit team Comfortable using computers and learning new software Available for occasional networking events outside standard business hours Previous sales or digital marketing experience is welcome, but not required. We're looking for the right attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn. This position probably isn't for you if you'd rather work with existing clients, wait for opportunities to come to you or avoid the uncomfortable parts of prospecting. If this sounds like the kind of challenge you're looking for, we'd love to talk.
