- 75,000 per year + Performance Bonus Reports Directly to the CEO About Superior Superior Equipment & Supply is a 40-year-old, family-owned foodservice equipment and supply company serving restaurants, schools, government agencies, hospitality, institutions, contractors, and commercial foodservice operations.
We are entering an exciting stage of growth and are looking for a highly capable Growth & Business Development Specialist to work directly with our CEO to help identify, develop, and organize new business opportunities. The Role This is a unique combination of business development, market intelligence, technology, and executive-level execution. Our CEO regularly identifies potential opportunities through industry news, construction projects, school referendums, restaurant openings, government activity, customer trends, manufacturer programs, and new market developments. Your responsibility is to turn that information into actionable business opportunities. For example, if we learn that a school district is building or renovating facilities, you would research the project, determine whether foodservice is involved, identify the decision-makers, architect, general contractor, foodservice director, and other relevant contacts, and build the opportunity in Salesforce for our sales team to pursue. You will help ensure that good opportunities are identified early, researched thoroughly, assigned correctly, and followed through. Key Responsibilities Research and develop new business opportunities across schools, restaurants, hospitality, government, construction, and commercial foodservice. Identify decision-makers, influencers, architects, contractors, consultants, purchasing contacts, and other key stakeholders. Turn CEO-generated ideas, articles, leads, and market intelligence into qualified opportunities. Build and maintain prospects, contacts, and opportunities in Salesforce . Use LinkedIn and digital prospecting tools to identify and research potential customers. Build targeted prospect lists for sales and marketing campaigns. Monitor new construction, renovations, restaurant openings, school projects, and other developments that could create opportunities for Superior. Coordinate qualified opportunities with the appropriate salesperson and establish clear next steps. Track opportunities and follow up internally to keep them moving. Assist with targeted email, LinkedIn, and digital business-development campaigns. Use AI and modern technology to improve research, prospecting, organization, and productivity. Prepare a concise weekly growth and opportunity report for the CEO. What We're Looking For We want someone who is: Strategic and curious

Preferred Experience Experience with some combination of: Salesforce or another CRM LinkedIn / LinkedIn Sales Navigator Business development or sales operations Market and company research Lead generation and prospecting Excel and Microsoft Office AI tools such as ChatGPT Email marketing and digital marketing platforms A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Foodservice industry experience is helpful but not required . We can teach you our industry and products. How Success Will Be Measured Success isn't about filling Salesforce with names.
