Help launch the next generation of skilled welders At Western Welding Academy, we prepare people for real careers in a trade that changes lives. As a Student Selection Representative, you're often the first person a prospective student and their family talk to, and you guide them all the way from that first conversation to the day they start the program. If you love sales, care about people, and want your work to mean something, this role delivers all three. What you'll do Guide prospective students through the enrollment journey, from first interest to their first day of class. Build real relationships with students and their families, earning trust and clearly communicating the value of our training. Close enrollment opportunities using strong sales skills and consistent, timely follow-up. Support the details that matter, including onboarding paperwork, housing documents, financial aid applications, loan options, and payment plans. Keep clean records and track your activity in our CRM, so nothing falls through the cracks. Hit your numbers and report on key metrics like lead conversion, application completion, and enrollment. Work as a team with the Student Selection group and other departments to give every student a smooth, positive experience. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent Proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or beating targets Strong communication, people, and presentation skills The ability to build rapport and trust with all kinds of people Solid organization, time management, and problem-solving skills Comfort with Microsoft Office and CRM software The ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of welding or trade education is a plus, not a requirement What's in it for you Your pay is only part of the picture.
