Front Desk Supervisor / Sales Representative Xtreme Play Adrenaline Park - Danbury, CT Xtreme Play Adrenaline Park is a family entertainment center dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional customer service, high-energy entertainment, and a welcoming environment for families and groups . We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Front Desk Supervisor / Sales Representative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong sales and communication skills, and is ready to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Position Overview The Front Desk Supervisor / Sales Representative will play a key role in providing an outstanding guest experience while helping drive sales through the booking of birthday parties, group events, corporate events, and other facility experiences . This position will also assist with the day-to-day operation of the facility during designated shifts, including overseeing front desk operations, supporting team members, and opening or closing the facility when required. The Front Desk Supervisor will report directly to the General Manager . Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to guests and ensure a positive experience from arrival through departure. Answer phones, respond to customer inquiries, and provide information about attractions, parties, events, and facility offerings. Sell and book birthday parties, group events, corporate events, and other experiences. Follow up with prospective customers and assist in converting inquiries into confirmed bookings. Manage reservations and ensure event details are accurately communicated and documented. Oversee front desk operations during assigned shifts. Provide direction and leadership to front desk and other team members as needed. Help ensure company policies, procedures, and customer service standards are consistently followed. Assist with resolving guest concerns and escalate issues to the General Manager when appropriate. Complete opening and/or closing procedures when scheduled. Assist with cash handling, register procedures, and daily operational responsibilities. Monitor the overall guest experience and communicate operational needs to management. Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and welcoming front desk environment. Support the General Manager with additional operational responsibilities as needed. Qualifications & Skills The ideal candidate will be: Trustworthy, dependable, and responsible An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills Customer-service oriented and comfortable interacting with families, children, and large groups Confident and comfortable with sales and asking for the booking A natural leader who can provide direction to team members Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment Comfortable handling cash and basic administrative responsibilities Able to remain professional and positive when handling challenging customer situations Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed to support the operation Previous customer service, sales, hospitality, entertainment, or supervisory experience preferred Schedule & Availability Part-time, hourly position
Minimum:
25 hours per week
Maximum:
approximately 35 hours per week Weekend availability is required Weekend availability is especially important as weekends are our peak operating period. Must be available to work opening and/or closing shifts when scheduled.
Compensation Starting Pay:
$20.00 per hour The starting rate will remain in effect for the first 60 days , at which time performance, reliability, leadership, customer service, and overall fit for the position will be evaluated.
