Full Job Description About Independence Mazda:
Accelerate your career under our aggressive new management team at Independence Mazda! We are completely transforming our dealership culture and looking for high-energy, ambitious automotive leaders to join our family-value environment. If you want to change the culture to one of fun, accountability, and immense success, this is your opportunity to lead a high-charging team to the absolute top of the market.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Internet / BDC Manager who leads from the front, not from behind a desk. In this role, your primary focus will be driving execution on our high-volume internet traffic and incoming digital leads. You will manage the Business Development Center (BDC), ensuring lightning-fast response times, high-quality personalized outreach, and strict process accountability. You will help hire, train, coach, and motivate a team of representatives to maximize appointment setting and build long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing BDC team to meet and exceed monthly performance goals.
Lead Management:
Oversee all incoming digital inquiries, internet leads, phone calls, texts, and emails to guarantee rapid, high-quality responses.
Process Execution:
Maintain and enforce strict CRM workflows, ensuring accurate records of all customer contact, follow-ups, and appointment confirmations.
Performance Metrics:
Monitor outbound call volumes, response times, appointment-to-show ratios, and closing rates to drive continuous operational improvement.
Collaboration:
Partner closely with the Sales and Finance Management teams to ensure a seamless transition from digital confirmation to the showroom floor.
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing an automotive Business Development Center (BDC) or Internet Sales team. Strong expertise with eLead CRM software and lead management platform. Ability to coach from the front, manage day-to-day operations, and hold the team accountable to performance milestones. Exceptional communication, phone, and written skills. Driven, high-energy mentality with a passion for servant leadership and mentorship.
What We Offer:
Highly competitive salary and performance-based commission plan. Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision options. A supportive, growth-oriented family environment with clear paths for advancement under an energetic new leadership team.
