Job Description

Position Summary The Outbound Sales Trainer is responsible for onboarding, training, and developing Inside Sales Representatives. This role prioritizes building strong outbound selling capabilities, with an emphasis on wireless sales performance and bundled solution selling to maximize revenue. The Trainer operates in a fast-paced, quota-driven environment and partners closely with Sales Leadership to improve team performance against key metrics, including units, upgrades, revenue, and conversion rates. This role reinforces consultative selling techniques, ensures consistent execution of outbound sales strategies, and drives continuous skill development across the team. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training programs for outbound sales representatives Facilitate training sessions focused on outbound prospecting, objection handling, closing techniques, and consultative selling Conduct call listening sessions and provide structured coaching feedback to improve sales effectiveness Partner with Team Leads and leadership to identify performance gaps and implement targeted training solutions Reinforce adherence to outbound sales processes, scripting, compliance standards, and CRM documentation practices Develop and maintain training materials, including scripts, job aids, and product knowledge resources Drive skill development in upselling and cross-selling (accessories, protection plans, multi-line accounts, and bundled services) Stay current on product offerings, promotions, pricing, and competitive positioning to ensure training accuracy Track training effectiveness and report on performance improvements, trends, and opportunities Qualifications - Preferred 2-5 years of inside or outbound sales experience 1+ year of training, coaching, or facilitation experience in a quota-driven environment Proven success in outbound sales and meeting or exceeding individual sales targets Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into effective training strategies Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment Proficiency with CRM systems and training tools Work Environment This role operates in an inside sales environment. It involves extended periods of sitting, frequent computer use, facilitating training sessions, and engaging with a high volume of team members.
