Senior Sales Manager - Industrial Solutions Our client in Pittsburgh, PA is in search of an innovative and results-oriented Senior Sales Manager to lead a high-performing sales team in an expanding industrial solutions portfolio. This leadership position is crucial for driving revenue growth, increasing market presence, and nurturing top sales talent within a technically-driven setting. If you excel in strategic planning, team leadership, and consultative sales techniques , this role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the future of a specialized product line. Key Responsibilities Lead and motivate a sophisticated sales team focused on industrial traceability solutions, such as direct part marking and product identification systems Take charge of the sales strategy and implementation , setting clear objectives and creating actionable plans to consistently surpass targets Monitor crucial performance metrics, pinpoint growth possibilities, and drive continuous enhancement throughout the team Promote business expansion initiatives , entering new markets while reinforcing existing customer relationships Provide direct leadership, guidance, and coaching to develop a strong sales team through mentorship and talent enhancement Leverage technical expertise for consultative sales strategies , delivering customized solutions to resolve intricate customer issues Travel to customer locations for product demonstrations, application analysis, and strategic sales support Collaborate effectively with marketing, product, and distribution teams to align efforts and drive rapid growth Engage in account-based strategies with marketing , targeting high-value prospects and monitoring performance metrics Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical discipline Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership position Demonstrated ability to achieve results through data analysis , utilizing CRM tools like Salesforce or similar platforms for performance optimization Background in industrial manufacturing, automation, or part marking solutions is highly preferred Excellent communication and leadership skills with the capacity to influence at all levels A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, proactive attitude Willingness to travel up to 50% (domestically and internationally) Benefits of This Opportunity Our client is a global leader in industrial and identification solutions, renowned for innovation, dependability, and a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.
