Role Description This is a full-time Fleet Sales role in a hybrid work arrangement, based primarily at AutoNation Ford Margate serving the Fort Lauderdale, FL area, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Fleet Sales professional is responsible for managing and growing relationships with commercial, government, and corporate clients, focusing on vehicle fleet solutions that meet their operational needs. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting needs assessments, preparing customized fleet proposals, and guiding clients through the full sales process from quotation to delivery. The role involves coordinating vehicle orders, working with internal departments on pricing, financing, and logistics, and ensuring timely communication throughout the sales cycle. The Fleet Sales professional is also expected to follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction, handle after-sale support, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, and participate in periodic sales meetings and training. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in Fleet Sales with a strong understanding of commercial and corporate vehicle needs. Knowledge of Sales Processes, including lead management, pipeline tracking, negotiation, and closing techniques. Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and providing consultative support. Clear and professional Communication skills, including the ability to present proposals, explain product options, and collaborate with internal teams. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and tasks both on-site and from home. Proficiency with CRM and dealership management systems, and basic skills in office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations). Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with attention to detail in pricing, contracts, and documentation. Prior experience in automotive sales, commercial sales, or related business-to-business sales is highly beneficial. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and ability to travel locally for client visits as needed.
