Solar Sales Consultant Premo Roofing & Solar Castroville, CA Job Details Full-time $85,000 - $135,000 a year 17 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications In-person customer service Construction plans Following blueprint specifications Sales management systems proficiency Solar blueprint interpretation CRM system proficiency Solution selling approach Energy storage systems Solar sales Full Job Description We're seeking a Solar Sales Consultant who will use their technical expertise and sales experience to design and sell residential and commercial solar energy systems to homeowners and business owners throughout Salinas, Monterey, and Santa Cruz. As a Solar Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for the following: Prepare designs, proposals, quotes, contracts, and presentations for commercial and residential customers. Use solar design software to design photovoltaic and battery systems. Calculate potential solar array production, estimated bill savings, and battery sizing using solar design software. Sell roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar arrays for residential and commercial projects, evaluating site conditions and working with customers to identify an appropriate system configuration.
Requirements:
4+ years of work experience as a solar sales consultant for a licensed solar contractor. Advanced knowledge of residential and commercial solar and energy storage systems, including roof-mounted and ground-mounted installations, roofing types and attachment methods, physical wiring methods, and the system configurations that are feasible for different site conditions. Professional appearance and friendly disposition. Ability to explain installation methods, wiring configurations, and site limitations accurately in layman's terms to help customers understand the proposed system and feel confident in the recommended solution. Proficiency with CRM software, general office software, and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Ability to read construction plans.
