10 to 30% Commission on Signed Deals About the Role Collective Solar is seeking experienced and motivated Solar Sales Closers to join our growing team in Fresno, California. This role is ideal for professionals with previous solar and sales experience who are comfortable working directly with homeowners, building trust face to face, and helping guide customers through the solar consultation process. As a Solar Sales Closer, you will act as the in-person representative of the company during homeowner appointments. You will support Energy Consultants during consultations while learning our systems, processes, and sales methodology with the goal of eventually transitioning into a full Energy Consultant role yourself. This position combines field work, customer interaction, and sales support in a high-growth renewable energy environment with strong commission potential. What You'll Do Travel to homeowners' properties within the Fresno and surrounding service areas. Introduce yourself professionally and represent the company in person. Connect homeowners with an Energy Consultant (you will eventually become one, but first you need to learn our process) through a video call using your computer or large tablet. Ask the homeowner for a copy or photo of their electric bill. Inspect and document key property details needed for proposal creation, including: Main electrical panel Roof tile type Roof condition/state Take clear photographs of the required items and share them with the Energy Consultant. Assist both the homeowner and the Energy Consultant during the consultation in any way needed. Help ensure appointments run smoothly and homeowners feel informed, comfortable, and supported throughout the process. Build trust and maintain a professional, customer-focused experience from arrival through consultation completion. Support the sales process by helping homeowners feel confident and informed about solar energy solutions and the PPA process. Required Experience Minimum 1 year of solar industry experience . Minimum 2+ years of proven sales experience . Experience working in commission-based roles is a plus. Previous face-to-face customer interaction experience preferred. Requirements Must live in or near Fresno, California . Must have a reliable vehicle. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have a computer or large tablet with video call capabilities. Comfortable traveling locally to homeowner appointments. Comfortable working independently in a field-based role. Schedule Expectations This role requires flexibility to accommodate homeowner availability and scheduled consultations.
