Commercial Solar / Renewable Energy About the Position We are seeking an experienced Commercial Solar Sales Representative to join our growing team. This position is designed for an established solar professional who understands the commercial solar market, can develop strong relationships with property owners and decision-makers, and has a proven ability to close commercial solar projects. A minimum of 5 years of solar industry experience is required. Candidates should have substantial experience working with commercial customers, businesses, property owners, contractors, or other decision-makers within the solar industry. Responsibilities Generate and develop new commercial solar opportunities. Prospect and establish relationships with business owners, property owners, developers, and other commercial decision-makers. Conduct site evaluations and gather information necessary for project proposals. Present commercial solar solutions and explain project economics, savings, financing, and available incentives. Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through contract execution. Maintain and grow a pipeline of qualified commercial solar projects. Work closely with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to project development. Build long-term relationships with customers and referral partners. Stay current on California solar regulations, incentives, utility requirements, and changes affecting commercial solar projects. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in the solar industry — required. Proven experience selling solar, preferably commercial solar . Strong understanding of commercial solar project economics and sales processes. Ability to communicate effectively with business owners, executives, property owners, and other decision-makers. Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop leads, negotiate, and close deals. Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Compensation We understand that experienced commercial solar professionals have different compensation preferences. We are open to negotiating a compensation package based on the candidate's experience, existing book of business, and sales performance.
Potential compensation structures include:
