Job Description

Job Summary Coastal Energy is seeking a driven, customer-focused Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this outside sales role, you will meet with homeowners and property owners to assess their energy needs, educate them on the benefits of solar + battery storage, and guide them through the entire sales process—from initial consultation to signed agreement. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated sales professional who excels at building trust, conducting in-home presentations, and closing deals. You will play a key role in helping Florida families achieve greater energy independence and savings. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-home or virtual consultations, including site assessments, utility bill reviews, and customized solar + battery proposals. Educate customers on solar energy systems, battery backup solutions, available financing options, federal/state incentives, and long-term energy savings. Generate and qualify leads through company-provided sources, self-generation, referrals, networking, and outreach. Build strong relationships by providing honest recommendations and exceptional service throughout the sales process. Utilize GoHighLevel CRM to manage leads, track interactions, maintain pipeline, and ensure timely follow-ups. Negotiate pricing, financing, and packages while ensuring solutions align with customer goals and budget. Collaborate with operations and installation teams for smooth project handoff and customer satisfaction. Stay current on product offerings, industry trends, Florida-specific incentives, and competitive landscape. Requirements Proven track record in outside sales or consultative B2C sales (solar, roofing, home improvement, HVAC, or similar industries strongly preferred). Self-motivated with a competitive mindset and strong work ethic. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, non-technical terms. Comfortable using CRM software (GoHighLevel experience a plus) and basic sales technology (tablets, proposal software). Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required. Willingness to meet customers in their homes, including some evenings and weekends. Bilingual abilities (especially Spanish) are a strong plus.
