Overview Join our dynamic team as a Community Solar Sales Specialist and be at the forefront of expanding access to clean, renewable energy! In this energetic role, you'll drive the growth of community solar projects by engaging with potential customers, educating communities about solar energy benefits, and closing deals that make sustainable energy accessible to all. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help empower homeowners and businesses to harness the power of the sun while contributing to a greener future. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales skills within the rapidly growing renewable energy sector. Responsibilities Conduct outside sales activities through door-to-door outreach, community events, and direct client engagement to promote community solar programs Generate leads and build a strong pipeline of prospective customers using CRM software and lead management tools Present compelling solar energy solutions tailored to individual customer needs, emphasizing the benefits of community solar projects Negotiate terms, answer customer questions, and effectively close sales deals to meet or exceed sales goals Collaborate with marketing teams to develop outreach strategies that increase awareness and participation in community solar initiatives Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales progress, and follow-up actions within CRM systems like Salesforce Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through the enrollment process and addressing any technical or contractual questions Qualifications Transportation (mandatory) DriversLiscense (mandatory) (None of these qualifications below are mandatory but they are preferred) Proven experience in outside sales, direct sales, or technical sales Strong negotiation skills Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for reaching diverse communities Proficiency with softwares Knowledge of solar panels, energy sales, and renewable energy technologies is preferred Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment Experience with door-to-door sales, customer service, and lead generation strategies is advantageous Technical sales experience related to energy solutions will be considered a plus Join us in making a meaningful impact by promoting sustainable energy solutions! Pay:
$50.00 - $85.00 per hour
