  • Part-time, Full-time Overview Luminate Solar is hiring motivated Outside Solar Sales Representatives to join our growing Texas sales team.
This is a field-based sales role for individuals who are comfortable speaking with homeowners face-to-face, knocking doors, generating interest, setting appointments, and helping customers understand whether solar is a good fit for their home. Luminate Solar is an established, honest solar company with strong leadership, proven operations, and a customer-first approach. We are looking for coachable, driven people who want a serious sales opportunity with high earning potential. This is not a salary or hourly position. This is a commission-only sales role for people who are motivated by performance-based income and willing to put in consistent effort. Compensation This is a commission-only role . There is no hourly wage or base salary . Earnings vary based on individual sales activity, closed deals, project completion, and company commission terms. High-performing solar sales representatives can earn significant income, but results are not guaranteed. Success in this role requires consistent prospecting, follow-up, coachability, and a willingness to work directly with homeowners in the field. Responsibilities As an Outside Solar Sales Representative, you will: Knock doors and speak with homeowners in Texas neighborhoods Generate interest in residential solar Set appointments with qualified homeowners Educate homeowners on the potential benefits of solar Follow up with prospects and customers Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members Use company-provided sales processes, scripts, and tools Work with the Luminate Solar team to help move qualified projects forward Represent Luminate Solar with honesty, professionalism, and integrity What We Provide Luminate Solar provides: High commission opportunity Sales training and support Proven solar sales process Established company operations Honest leadership and team culture Financing options for qualified homeowners Sales tools and guidance Opportunity for advancement Flexible schedule based on your goals and availability Weekly virtual team overview and training call Who This Role Is a Good Fit For This opportunity may be a strong fit if you have experience in: Door-to-door sales Solar sales Roofing sales Pest control sales Alarm/security sales Insurance sales Home improvement sales Outside sales Appointment setting Customer-facing sales roles You may also be a good fit if you are: Competitive Self-motivated Coachable Comfortable with rejection Good at talking to people Looking for high-income potential Interested in building a long-term sales career Willing to work in the field and speak with homeowners directly Requirements Comfortable speaking with homeowners face-to-face Willing to knock doors and work in residential neighborhoods Strong communication skills Positive attitude and professional appearance Reliable transportation Smartphone Ability to work independently Must be located in Texas or able to sell in Texas territories Prior sales experience is preferred but not required Must be comfortable with commission-only compensation Schedule This role offers a flexible schedule. Many successful representatives work afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays when homeowners are most available.
