Cashier/Sales Associate/Stocker

• Sunday Schedule Part-Time Position Duties:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
• Scan and bag items, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Stock shelves and maintain inventory levels.
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints.
• Slice and Package Deli Meats and Charcuterie to keep products on floor fully stocked.
• Assist with packaging of products

Experience:

• Previous experience in customer service or cashiering preferred.
• Proficient in using a cash register and handling cash transactions.
• Knowledge of retail sales principles and practices.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for retail transactions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Skills:

• Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Cash handling: Proficient in handling cash transactions accurately and securely.
• POS systems: Experience using point-of-sale systems to process transactions.
• Retail math: Basic understanding of retail math calculations, such as discounts, percentages, and sales tax.
• Sales skills: Ability to effectively communicate product information, promote sales, and upsell to customers.
