Overview Join our dynamic team as a Stockroom Lead and take charge of managing inventory, stockroom maintenance, and ensuring seamless operational store functions. This energetic role is perfect for someone passionate about retail, inventory control, and organization. As a Stockroom Lead, you will drive efficiency, uphold organizational standards, and contribute to an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your proactive approach and excellent communication skills will empower your team to succeed while maintaining accurate stock levels and store presentation. Duties Oversee daily stockroom activities, including stocking, inventory management, and order processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency Support merchandising efforts to optimize product placement and store presentation in collaboration with management Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems for inventory tracking, sales transactions, and pricing adjustments Conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and implement effective stock control measures Receive, inspect, and organize incoming furniture and merchandise Prepare product for delivery, pickup, or showroom placement Assist with loading and unloading furniture safely and efficiently Skills Proven experience in retail stockroom or warehouse operations with strong leadership skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under time constraints Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and retail math. Demonstrated expertise in retail sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives. Exceptional communication skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and move furniture with assistance Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift Ability to operate hand trucks, dollies, or other equipment (training provided) This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a vital part of our retail operation.
