Job Description
Are you organized and ready to keep shelves stocked and our store looking great? We are seeking a motivated Stock Assistant to join our team in Montgomery, AL. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment and take pride in merchandising, we'd love to hear from you. This opportunity is ideal for entry-level candidates and individuals seeking experience in retail operations and inventory management. What You'll Do Stock & Merchandising Receive, unpack, and stock merchandise on shelves and displays. Maintain proper organization, pricing, and signage standards. Monitor inventory levels and rotate stock using FIFO methods. Ensure products are displayed attractively and safely. Customer Service & Store Operations Greet customers and assist in locating products. Keep stockroom, aisles, and sales floors clean and organized. Remove damaged or expired merchandise and manage waste disposal. Support sales floor activities during peak periods and collaborate with team members. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Reliable attendance and dependability. Physical ability to lift and move merchandise (up to 50 lbs regularly). Attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Previous retail, stocking, or inventory experience. Familiarity with inventory management systems. High school diploma or equivalent. No prior experience required.
