This role would suit someone who enjoys practical work, stays organised and is comfortable helping customers in a retail environment. You'll work alongside the wider store team to receive merchandise, replenish shelves, organise stock and support the daily running of the store. Previous retail or stocking experience is helpful, but it isn't essential if you're reliable, willing to learn and ready to get involved. Stockroom and Store Responsibilities The role combines hands-on stock work with general store support. You might begin by checking new deliveries, arranging products on shelves and making sure items are displayed correctly before assisting with customer enquiries or checking stock levels.

Your responsibilities will include:

Receiving deliveries, checking quantities and reporting damaged or missing items Unpacking merchandise and arranging products in the correct storage areas Replenishing shelves, racks and displays throughout the day Keeping stockrooms, storage areas and sales floors clean and organised Checking product labels, prices and shelf placement for accuracy Monitoring stock levels and informing the team when items need replenishing Helping customers locate products and answering basic questions when needed Supporting inventory counts and reporting discrepancies Assisting with store displays and seasonal merchandise changes Working with colleagues to keep daily store operations running smoothly Who Would Suit This Role? You don't necessarily need previous stock associate experience. Experience in retail, customer service, hospitality or another hands-on role can be useful, particularly if you're comfortable staying active and working as part of a team. We're looking for someone who is: Organised and attentive when handling merchandise Reliable and punctual, with a consistent approach to work Comfortable standing, walking and moving stock throughout the shift Able to follow instructions and keep products in their proper locations Friendly and willing to assist customers when needed Comfortable working in a busy retail environment Able to work independently while supporting the wider team

Working Arrangements Location:

Montgomery, Alabama Job type: Full-time, in-person

Hours:

Monday to Friday, during scheduled store hours

Training:

Provided on store procedures, stock handling and inventory processes This is an on-site retail position, so you'll need to be comfortable commuting to the Montgomery workplace and carrying out hands-on store duties.
