Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card payments. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Manage cash drawer handling with precision, ensuring all cash register operations are balanced at the end of each shift. Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising to maintain an organized and inviting store environment. Maintain phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or coordinating store activities over the phone. Support supervising staff with daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Skills Proficiency in POS systems and retail math for accurate transactions and change calculation. Strong communication skills to engage customers effectively and convey product information clearly. Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases. Knowledge of retail store product, merchandising, and inventory management. Experience in retail grocery stores.
