Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Grocery Clerk to join our team at our Fremont location. This role is essential in ensuring shelves are stocked, the store is well-maintained, and customers receive friendly and efficient service. Key Responsibilities Stock shelves, refrigerators, and displays with merchandise Ensure proper product rotation and freshness (FIFO) Maintain cleanliness and organization of aisles and storage areas Assist customers with locating products and answering questions Support cashier operations as needed, including bagging groceries Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies Follow all store policies, safety procedures, and health regulations Qualifications Previous retail or grocery experience preferred, but not required Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications Multilingual skills (Korean, Spanish, or other languages) are a plus Familiarity with Asian grocery products is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) Opportunities for growth and advancement How to Apply Please submit your application in person at our Fremont location or send your resume to [insert email].
