Summary North Stockton Grocery Outlet is independently owned and operated by a local husband-and-wife team. We're looking for dependable, hardworking Evening Stock Associates to help keep our store full, organized, and looking its best through the evening. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who learns quickly, works with urgency, and can stay productive without constant supervision. Our inventory changes frequently, so we need team members who can adapt, pick things up quickly, and take initiative when they see something that needs attention. What You'll Do Stock and replenish merchandise throughout the store Recover and face aisles to keep the store clean, organized, and shop-ready Keep high-traffic and fresh areas full throughout the evening Rotate product and check dates when working refrigerated and fresh departments Maintain clean, full, and visually appealing displays Identify empty shelves, low product, or messy areas and take action without waiting to be told Assist customers and help create a friendly shopping experience Help with carts, spills, trash, cleanup, and other store needs as needed Support front-end operations when necessary Follow all store safety and operational procedures What We're Looking For Reliable and consistent attendance Strong work ethic and sense of urgency Able to learn new tasks quickly and retain information Self-motivated and able to stay productive without constant supervision Comfortable taking initiative and finding the next task when work is completed Able to multitask and adjust priorities throughout the shift Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Team-oriented and willing to help wherever needed Previous grocery, stocking, retail, restaurant, production, or warehouse experience preferred, but not required Forklift experience preferred, but not required — training is available Schedule Part-time, approximately 15-25+ hours per week Typical evening shifts may begin between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM Must be available to work until 9:00 PM Weekend availability required Consistent availability is strongly preferred Pay & Benefits Starting at $17.00/hour 15% employee discount every Friday Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move for extended periods Comfortable working in refrigerated, freezer, and varying temperature environments
