SUMMARY This position is responsible for supporting all daily operations of the establishment, including both front-of-house and back-of-house responsibilities. Duties include preparing products, serving customers, stocking inventory, maintaining cleanliness and organization, processing customer transactions, and ensuring every guest receives a warm, efficient, and memorable experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, detail-oriented, food-safety-conscious, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions Support daily operations of the establishment Greet every customer promptly and warmly; take orders accurately and offer suggestions or upsells when appropriate. Scoop, assemble, and serve products according to portioning guidelines and quality standards. Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system, including cash, credit/debit, and gift cards. Manage the customer queue effectively and work efficiently to maintain service flow during high-volume periods. Keep the service counter, display cases, and customer-facing areas clean, stocked, and presentable throughout the shift. Prepare ice cream bases, toppings, mix-ins, sauces, and other menu items according to recipes, portion guidelines, and quality standards prior to service. Label, date, and rotate all products using FIFO standards; monitor levels and communicate replenishment needs to the manager. Conduct daily and weekly inventory counts; log received, used, and wasted product accurately; verify incoming deliveries against invoices. Organize and maintain all storage areas (dry storage, walk-in freezer, walk-in cooler, supply closets) in a clean, orderly, and compliant manner. Monitor and log freezer, display case, and refrigerator temperatures at opening, mid-shift, and closing. Follow all food safety, handwashing, and glove-use requirements. Execute cleaning and sanitation tasks per the established schedule, including food contact surfaces, equipment, floors, restrooms, and trash. Complete assigned opening and closing duties. Adhere to all dress, grooming, and uniform standards Maintain a positive, professional team environment Communicate issues, incidents, and updates to management Assist with social media marketing tasks as needed Be physically present in the workplace on a daily basis as scheduled Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to remain positive, calm, and efficient during high-volume or fast-paced periods. Strong verbal communication skills; able to interact professionally with customers and coworkers. Detail-oriented with a commitment to consistent portion control and food safety standards. Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a busy service environment. Must be punctual, dependable, and have reliable transportation to and from work. Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to follow verbal, written, and visual instructions. Must obtain and maintain a valid California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire. Must be flexible with scheduling, including late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
