Produce Associate

Responsibilities Stock, organize, and merchandise fresh produce items to ensure attractive displays that promote sales and customer satisfaction Load and unload shipments efficiently using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper storage and safety protocols are followed Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the produce department, including cleaning displays, shelving, and storage areas Assist customers with product questions, provide recommendations, and support their shopping experience with friendly communication skills Perform shipping & receiving duties by verifying incoming deliveries against purchase orders and organizing outgoing stock for easy access Support packaging tasks for pre-packed produce items while adhering to quality standards and safety guidelines General produce prep work, including Experience Previous retail sales background preferred but not required; training will be provided for all necessary equipment and procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, merchandising, and maintaining the cleanliness of the department Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently Knowledge of grocery store operations, retail math, shipping & receiving processes, and general maintenance tasks will support success in this role Prep work, including store made fruit salads, garden salads, and cut vegetables This is a paid position designed to foster growth in retail operations while ensuring our customers enjoy fresh produce every visit.
